Most of the time teachers are producing nice educational contents and post them to a Moodle system. This will go to the class. But why not spread this to general audience? It would be nice to go and hunt for new listeners out of the classroom, where the buzz is. Actually this is painful and time consuming for teachers. They have to go to some social profile and post a comment that they have already written in the lesson. Let alone the waste of time coming from all those blocks and ads in your social profile drawing your attention and stealing your precious time. So this course will teach you how  to set up a web structure whose goal is twofold. First communicate your nice work to the world using social networks for a better SEO placement. Second do this automatically, without any human contact with  socials, minimizing time waste. Obviously all this must come for free (any idea about teachers' salaries?).

Key steps are:

  • setting up Wordpress on a free shared host;
  • connect Moodle course to WP and generate WP posts out of relevant Moodle activities, For this we will learn how to go into a GitHUb repo for the plugin, modify multichannel.php,  adding the  Wordpress category name This should be done in Eclipse editing the file in  the project for \wp-content\plugins\rss-multi-importer-master\post_templates, then start  Jenkins and  start in Jenkins the deploy build  for this plugin
  • generate posts for your FB page out of new WP posts;
  • generate Tweets out of new WP posts and pin Twitted image to an coursewide Pinterest board;
  • send to Crowdfire a curated content for later posting to Instagram;
  • generate LinkedIn posts out of new WP posts;
